Recently, I had the privilege of joining a 90-minute episode of A Biblical Frame podcast. Joining me on the panel was fellow Epoch Times freelancer Jeff Sandes and retired CBC radio personality David Cayley. The topic was “Mass Media and Christian Discernment: Looking Back, Looking Forward.” The “looking back” aspect was the pandemic. I found it interesting to hear Cayley say he subscribes to both the Globe and Mail and the Epoch Times and found comparing issues brings him totally different news. A sequel will be released in a couple of weeks.
Pandemic retrospective
I wrote some more pandemic retrospectives since the previous Substack. The Sask grandma who would not comply in the Western Standard covered Aline Boux, a Swift Current lady who told some amusing stories of her experiences going maskless into stores. “I'm not scared of the police officers. I'm not scared of our mayor. I'm not scared of our premier,” she said.
The Epoch Times article ‘They Thought I Was a Nutcase’: Pandemic Mandates Spark Division, Forge Friendships covers two other ladies in Swift Current who were ostracized or even disowned by loved ones for refusing the vaccine, but found solace in each other and in those who saw things as they do.
I also wrote a commentary defending the extensive C2C Journal article by Margaret Kopala entitled, “The Virus, The Vaccine, The Victims: Beginning The Great Reckoning.” One commentator emailed various parties saying the article was disinformation, but I disagreed. Without naming him, I responded in the Frontier Centre commentary C-19 Vaccination Injury Arguments Rely on Authority, Not Facts.
