Hi friends! Last weekend I saw CFL stars past and present as Regina hosted the Grey Cup for the fourth time. I had no plans to be at it as I am frugal and the ‘Riders weren’t in it. (Besides, my place in the back corner of temporary seating at the ‘03 event is still the coldest three hours of my life!) However, two hours before game time, the friend I went to the ‘09 cup with in Calgary (you know, the one where we lost with too many men on the field) gave me two tickets in Sec 237 at the 25-yard line. My wife Charlotte and I had a great time, though, believe me, it was still cold!
Ironically, that fateful ‘09 cup was when then-Jays catcher Gregg Zaun fell in love with the ‘Riders because of our unbelievable fan support there. He has been attending Grey Cups ever since and was also at the Ballers Grey Cup party the Friday before this year’s game. I saw him and other stars there and you can see 10 pics at each link HERE and HERE to find out who they were.
Speaking on Saturday
Charlotte and I will be sharing our life and faith story at a catered Full Gospel Businessmen’s banquet at 6:30 pm this Saturday at the Legion Hall basement, 150 3rd St NE in Weyburn. Let Mike Grier know if you’re coming (email HERE). I’m guessing tickets are $20 to $25.

Finally—Stefanson Needs to Think Big on Hudson Bay Opportunities

UV Light: A Shining Way to Kill a Virus
A long-neglected technology offers new hope to Canadians that invisible viruses can be eradicated. The solution is ultraviolet light, invisible to the human eyes, but deadly to pathogens. And its proper application seems to be more effective than disinfectant chemicals.
