True North Declaration, U.S. Minister Warns Canada
Hi friends, I have two articles exclusively for you. The first was published in the Western Standard but later withdrawn at the publisher’s preference. The second was declined upon submission. If you think they’re worth reading, do pass them on. Enjoy!
True North Declaration inspires Buffalo Party
A document written by a Peachland, BC resident has been endorsed by the executive of the Buffalo Party of Saskatchewan.
The True North Declaration was penned March 15, 2023 by Brenton Froehlich. The declaration says events of the last 30 years point to a “broken” Canada, “bullied and coddled into the cage of a totalitarian state in the making.”
“Since Confederation, most Canadians believed that Government respected our God given rights and freedoms, and that the tyranny which reigned in far away places would never find its way to our shores,” Froelich writes.
“The charade of Canadian liberty ended when the Freedom Convoy 2022 was bludgeoned by Trudeau invoking the Emergencies Act. His use of violence to crush the Freedom Convoy proved yet again that Parliament is sovereign, and that as with our Bill of Rights, the Charter is simply political sleight of hand.”
The declaration says “the Charter is about privileges not rights” because Parliament can limit them. “And thus, the fundamental flaw in our Constitution lies exposed…it contains no recognition to the inalienable rights of Canadians.”
The document listed instances where Canada was abused by its government in past decades and more recent times. Many involved pandemic issues and some still in process, such as “Pursuing total control over our lives, including what we drive, what we eat, what jobs we have and how we adapt in their imagined future green economy” and “Imposition of a Digital Currency and Digital ID to exert complete control over the social, economic, and political lives of all Canadians.”
The document alleges national sovereignty has been compromised “by supporting illegal migration and the Globalist agendas of the World Economic Forum, the United Nations and the World Heath Organization” and by “Tacitly supporting the efforts and ambitions of the Communist Party of China.”
In response, the document makes the following seven-point declaration.
1. We are the True North, Canada’s Freedom Nation, and we will not surrender Canada to the political elites and their post-nationalist agenda;
2. We believe all people are created equally in the image of God with inalienable rights and liberties including the right to life, liberty, and personal property;
3. We believe in the power of loving God and loving our neighbour as ourselves;
4. We will not surrender our God given rights to any Government and would rather die as free people standing bravely in the face of tyranny, than live as serfs beholden to a dictator, such as Justin Trudeau;
5. We will hold the line and not comply with any law, order, regulation, mandate, or directive from Government that infringes on our inalienable rights and liberties;
6. We will freely exercise our inalienable rights and freedoms including the right to free speech, the right to self defense, the right to privacy, the right to practice our faith, the right to freely associate, and the right to personal property;
7. We possess the right of self determination, and from this strength we will organize a congress of Canadians from coast to coast to coast to frame a new Constitution for the nation, under which sovereign Provinces can unite in a Federation that will guarantee the rights and liberties of the True North, Strong and Free, to prosper and to endure with the grace and blessings of God.
On his YouTube channel, Buffalo Party candidate Mark Friesen hosted Froelich to read the declaration. A recently launched Facebook group on the declaration has just over 1,000 members.
In an email to its supporters, Saskatchewan’s Buffalo Party endorsed the document as “the road map to obtain the autonomy that we seek.” The party announced Brenton and his wife Jolinda will attend the party’s upcoming annual general meeting.
“We…are the first political party in Canada to sign on to the declaration. This declaration will be the road map to a new Canadian Constitution, and the groundwork for a Saskatchewan Constitution,” the email stated.
“We will be presenting the document to our membership at the AGM23 and Convention in Humboldt on April 1st and 2nd. The membership will ratify this document into a Buffalo Party document, and thus starting the process of drafting a provincial constitution.”
Prophecy from Florida: Canada is at a dangerous tipping point
A Fort Lauderale author and preacher says the Canadian government is suppressing its people’s wealth and freedoms and God wants people to rise up.
Jennifer Leclaire, leader of the Awakening House of Prayer, shared the message on February 10, and later to YouTube in a video entitled, “Prophecy: Canada is at a Dangerous Tipping Point.”
“The Lord's heart, His eyes are on Canada as things stir, as the enemy works to tear down generations, to tear down the rights of people. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy,” Leclaire said in the video.
“But the Lord says, ‘Canada is at a tipping point, a point of no return as liberties are stripped and aggression against religious liberties is heightened. But I see a new Canada rising from the ashes, the ashes of controversy. The new Canada, it's here, and it's coming.’”
Leclaire, an author of 50 books, and editor and columnist at Charisma magazine, said a renewed Canada won’t come without a fight.
“You can't see it yet,’ says the Lord. ‘But you will see it. You don't see it with your natural eyes…But I see it. I see my remnant. I see my people. I see freedom fighters…But they must rise up. They must push back longer and stronger. They must outlast the wicked one. They must be a voice for the voiceless. They must be courageous…O Canada, rise up.
“The Lord says, ‘My people must fight the good fight of faith because the enemy is working to make Canada a prototype, a prototype of a Western nation where liberties have been stripped, trampled on, curbed, overtaken and overruled. You've got to fight.’”
Leclaire’s message came four days before the one-year anniversary of the trucker’s convoy being shut down under the Emergencies Act in Ottawa. Leclaire said the devil is at work in the nation’s capital.
“Take your stand while you still can, for the enemy is working through your government to derail my purposes of my promises for your nation. Have I not given you wealth? Have I not given you resources, have I not given you blessings? Stand for what belongs to you. Stand for what I've given you.
“The stage is set for more crises in governments in the Western Hemisphere…And Canada is at a tipping point, says the Lord. Which way will she go?...Will she fall or will she rise?...It's up to you prayer warriors. Stand and withstand, says the Lord. Do not shrink back, for much is at stake. It's not just Canada. It's North America at stake…The policies, the practices, the warfare, it seeps down.”
Leclaire drew attention to Prime Minister Trudeau's hometown of Montreal where a child was recently aborted at 38 weeks gestation at the Sacred Heart Hospital. The city also houses the headquarters of Pornhub, despite a petition with 2.2 million signatures calling for its shutdown.
“’Keep your eyes on Montreal because the enemy is poised to bring a great fall. So stand up, decree, declare, fight. Push back the darkness, but use your voice. Make my will known. Prophesy to the wind. Take authority over the principalities and the powers. Take your stand before more is lost,’ says the Lord.”
Leclaire, an author of more than 50 books and a former editor of Charisma magazine, prayed for Canada following her message. Her petition was that its people of prayer would be made strong.
“We stand in the gap for Canada. And we ask you Lord to give the intercessors, give the church, a backbone like steel and a forehead like flint. Make them unmoveable and unshakable. Help them not to grow weary, for I know that intercessors in Canada are growing weary. I've heard them tell me so, but help them keep standing because there's so much at stake,” Leclaire said.
“And Lord, give that nation a leader who will respect the rights of all people from the womb to the tomb. The atrocities that have been committed in that nation is not unlike America. Babies aborted at 38 weeks? My God, show mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment; let Your mercy reign in Canada.
“God, give the intercessors more time to dig in. Teach them how to fight, teach them how to war, teach them how to stand at new levels. We plead the blood of Jesus over Canada. We plead mercy in Jesus’ name.”
